A Little Bit About Lorraine . . .
A self-taught Mixed Media Artist, Lorraine resides in Windermere, Florida on the beautiful Butler Chain of Lakes where she draws a lot of her inspiration. She has been married to her husband, Michael for 22 years and is the mother of two college students. She fills her empty nest with art; spending countless hours in her studio painting, drawing and writing. She lived in the Cayman Islands for 20 years where she owned "Work of Art," the Island's only outlet for local artists. "Work of Art" was a charming Arts & Crafts supply store where artists gathered to share ideas, create, teach and sell their art. Lorraine hosted many art festivals and shows, drawing crowds as high as 10,000 people to her events. She also hosted a weekly television segment on the morning news featuring an art project and encouraging everyone to find their inner artist.
Lorraine moved to Florida in 2004 after Hurricane Ivan wreaked havoc on Grand Cayman. She still owns a home in the islands and plans to eventually move back full time and once again commune with locals and revisit her dream of a life filled with creativity and art on a tropical island!
